In 1994, LMC embarked on a significant milestone by becoming a participant in the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 8(a) Business Development Program. This pivotal moment opened doors to serving the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), marking the beginning of a remarkable partnership.

Building the Future: The Columbia Center
During our collaboration with NASA, LMC played a crucial role in constructing the iconic Center for Human Space Flight Performance and Research, now recognized as the Columbia Center, located at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. This project garnered accolades for its groundbreaking achievements in sustainable design, earning a coveted LEED Gold award—a national benchmark for high-performance green buildings.
Expanding Our Reach: Serving USPS and DoD
Our journey didn’t stop with NASA. LMC Corporation was honored to be entrusted with contracts from the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) and the Department of Defense (DoD). These partnerships allowed us to provide construction and maintenance support to post offices and military installations across Texas and neighboring regions. Our services encompassed an extensive range, from maintenance and repairs to new construction and fire control system installations. Our commitment to excellence was underscored by letters of recommendation from esteemed entities like the U.S. Navy and Coast Guard.
