LMC Corporation was founded in 1989 to provide construction and maintenance services to public sector clients. In 1994 LMC became a participant in the U.S. Small Business Administrations 8(a) Business Development Program and began providing services to the National Aerospace and Space Administration. During this time LMC constructed, amongst other projects, the Center for Human Space Flight Performance and Research, now known as the Columbia Center, at the Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas.
The project received an exemplary performance rating for its innovation in recycled content usage, potable water reduction, use of Tradable Renewable Certificates and open space accommodation thus earning a LEEDs Gold award, the national benchmark for design, construction, and operations of high-performance green buildings.


While working with NASA, LMC was awarded contracts with the U.S. Postal Service and the Department of Defense providing construction and maintenance support to post offices and military installations across the state of Texas and the surrounding areas .These services included maintenance, repairs, alterations, renovations, remediation, new construction, painting, plumbing,lighting, electrical,
concrete, asphalt, utilities, flooring, roofing, masonry, doors, windows, fencing, fire control system installations and civil work. This work awarded LMC letters of recommendation from the US Navy and Coast Guard.

After successfully graduating from the SBA’s 8(a) program in , LMC continued to serve its federal partners and expanded its client list to include state agencies, county governments, municipalities, universities, independent school districts and hospital systems.
Today LMC CORPORATION has completed thousands of jobs for hundreds of clients and still prides itself in the Quality, Integrity and Workmanship that it delivers on every project.
